Sprite’s litter names were all about persistence and so the bitch who stayed took the name of a favorite phrase. Then her call name was easy to come by, after the great “Ted Lasso” character….”Keeley &*^%ing Jones”!
Did she ever live up to both names!
As much as I…and many breeders…are eager to get those cute Wheaten puppies in the ring, Keeley (like her mom) showed the value of growing up before getting serious about showing. Sure, her first show resulted in a BOB over a special but then circumstances intervened and not much happened. And then…adolescence hit and she needed to get through most of that. Once she did, this feminine, showy, fluid moving girl quickly finished her championship with 3 majors. She was shown briefly as a special, with a particularly rewarding Bred By Exhibitor Group 3 at the Garden State All-Terrier Club show in May 2026.
A brat of the first order…just ask her poor “big brother” Wilson…her next task is to enter the whelping box, which we are certain she’ll think she can handle better than anyone.
